Local, Reliable Medical Imaging Services
In early 1979, a manufacturers’ merger left many Wisconsin customers without service for their CT equipment. Three young entrepreneurs saw this gap as an opportunity. Delta Medical Systems formed with the goal of providing reliable medical imaging services for local hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.
Delta’s newly-minted partners played it smart from the beginning, hiring the CT manufacturer’s former service engineers and restoring service to customers in Southeast Wisconsin.
Growth & Development
Over the next 15 years, Delta expanded to include sales of medical imaging equipment and film processing consumables throughout the upper Midwest.
By the mid 1990’s, digitalization was causing the decline of the film processing industry. Delta seized the opportunity to buy out a handful of other film processing companies, then sold off the division to focus exclusively on imaging equipment sales and service.
In 2000, Delta signed on as an Advanced Partner with Siemens Healthineers—a prestigious relationship allowing us to provide the highest level of personalized service, along with industry-leading imaging products.
Expanding Our Reach
Our territory grew to include Wisconsin, Minnesota, northern Illinois, and the upper peninsula of Michigan, with a focus on rural hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities. From 2012-2018, Delta continued to expand east, adding new employees and territories all the way up through New England.
Today, Delta continues to put customer service first while offering the full line of Siemens Healthineers diagnostic imaging solutions for rural and community hospitals, outpatient clinics, and surgery centers.

Thanks to our employees’ service, integrity, creativity, and focus on excellence, what started as a few X-ray installations in Wisconsin has expanded to thousands of advanced imaging rooms across the country.
